Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a Phlebotomist for on-site, 24-hour coverage across our campuses. You will perform venipuncture, capillary draws, EKG, pulse oximetry, and general specimen processing per tests and orders.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and BLS certification within 3 months of hire; travel between locations may be required, with a part-time 5:30am–2pm schedule and UFCW affiliation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy training completed.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of employment.
• Experience with venipuncture and specimen handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws per physician orders.
• Prepare specimens, label, and ensure tests meet required guidelines.
• Maintain quality control and assist with related equipment and procedures.
