Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group in Cumming, GA seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday–Friday, with an anticipated duration of 3 months plus conversion options.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging, maintaining records, and ensuring specimen integrity. Requires 2 years’ experience, venipuncture proficiency, and a valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed, as required.
• Minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and recording data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimens and ensure correct labeling and testing.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity per protocols.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in required trainings.
