Job summary

United Future seeks a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Cumming, GA, with potential for permanent placement. The schedule is 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday through Friday, supporting fast-paced laboratory operations.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, documenting maintenance data, and complying with OSHA regulations. A valid state phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid state phlebotomy certification.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and handle specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match orders to specimens and label, centrifuge, and store samples.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
• Answer inquiries and review results.
