Job Juncture is seeking a phlebotomist for a contract position in Saint Petersburg, FL. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with an initial duration of about 3 months and a potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and collect blood specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per procedures.
• Record maintenance data and ensure accuracy of patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
