The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Phlebotomist in Saint Petersburg, FL for a contract position with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm, with a projected duration of 3 months plus potential for perm.

The role requires experience with blood draws, labeling specimens, and maintaining accurate records, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations. Benefits are available for eligible staff.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures.
