Responsibilities include following OSHA/DEP protocols, maintaining specimen integrity during transport, and participating in annual trainings. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm; duration around 3 months with potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by the employment state.
• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and updating patient information per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package and transport specimens following required procedures.
