SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Manassas, VA. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with an initial 3-month duration and potential for permanent employment.

The role involves phlebotomy for patients of all ages, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data entry, and strict adherence to processing procedures. Must have phlebotomy certification and solid computer skills; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously; demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling and packaging for transport.
