Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws on patients with various ages
• Label specimens accurately and centrifuge as required
• Record maintenance data and decontamination steps
• Update patient information in the system and ensure accuracy
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients
