Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Manassas, VA. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with a 3-month duration and potential for permanent placement. The phlebotomist will perform blood draws on all ages, handle labeling and specimen processing, and maintain accurate records.

Minimum 2 years' experience and state-certified phlebotomy credentials are required; occasional travel to the other Manassas location may be needed. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state
• Minimum 2 years' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsabilités

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and ensure accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples correctly.
