Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist in Manassas, VA for a contract position with potential for permanent placement. The role involves phlebotomy across all ages, data entry, and general specimen handling. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with occasional travel to another Manassas location.

Minimum 2 years of experience and a valid phlebotomy certification are required. Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite is expected. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process to patients.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure accuracy.
