Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. seeks a phlebotomist in Manassas, VA for an initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. The role involves blood draws across all ages, data entry, and processing with some travel to a second Manassas location.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required by state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate work areas and handle specimen refrigeration.
• Update patient information accurately in the system.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
