Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Manassas, VA, with potential for permanency. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm; occasional location shifts within Manassas may occur. Primary duties include blood draws, labeling and specimen handling, and data entry with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification valid for the employing state.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
