Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a Phlebotomist in Cumming, GA to join a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The schedule is 7:15am–4:15pm, Monday to Friday, with an expected duration of 3 months and potential for perm.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and maintaining sample integrity, with benefits available. Requirements include valid phlebotomy certification where required, and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and label, centrifuge, and freeze as required.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain sample integrity per protocol.
