Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in San Antonio, TX, covering a 10-15 mile radius. The schedule runs Monday–Friday, 7am–5:30pm, with a 8-hour shift. The assignment is for approximately 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data maintenance, and patient communication. Requires phlebotomy certification and minimum 6 months venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Requires valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge and process specimens, record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Assist with workflow improvements as needed.
