Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist (Contract) in San Antonio, TX. The role covers a 10-15 mile radius with locations to support the system. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–5:30 pm, 8-hour shifts. Initial duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and handle specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and prepare specimens per test orders.
• Record maintenance data and ensure proper labeling.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients clearly and courteously.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer inquiries by reading laboratory results.
