Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist to cover locations within a 10-15 mile radius of San Antonio, TX. The role is contract with potential for permanent placement. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience and a valid phlebotomy certification.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, and maintaining accurate patient data. Availability Monday–Friday 7am–5:30pm; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients as required.
• Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and storage.
