Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws and specimen handling at our Oceanside, CA site. The role is a contract position with potential to become permanent, with a typical 6AM–6PM schedule, weekend rotation, and mileage reimbursement.

Pay is $20.25 per hour, with benefits available. The candidate will collect and label specimens, ensure proper storage, and maintain accurate patient data while adhering to OSHA regulations.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED 1-4 years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains the venipuncture and specimen collection process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrates technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Understands physicians' orders and matches requisitions.
• Packages and stores specimens, maintains proper temperatures, and labels appropriately.
• Follows OSHA and DEP regulations and attends annual trainings.
• Answers telephone inquiries and communicates laboratory results as needed.
