Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in San Antonio, TX. The role covers a 10-15 mile radius with a 7am-5:30pm schedule (8-hour shift). Duration is 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' venipuncture experience.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package and transport specimens per protocol.
• Ensure test requisitions match specimen tubes.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
