Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, valid state phlebotomy certification, MS Office proficiency, and experience with pediatric draws and needle techniques. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm, with potential for long-term perm.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and transports them per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
