Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks a phlebotomist for a contract opportunity in Baltimore, MD. The role includes blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and data recording with adherence to established procedures and safety standards.

The position runs Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, with one Saturday per month (8:00am-2:30pm), for an initial 3-month term with potential for permanent placement. Pediatric to geriatric experience is required.

Competenze

• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED; valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously; demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and temperature control.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and attend annual department trainings.
