Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is hiring a Phlebotomist in Charlotte, NC for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. The role requires blood draws, specimen handling, and adherence to safety protocols during patient interactions.

The ideal candidate will have a valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Benefits are available and the work schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of overall work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer telephone inquiries and relay results.
