Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, for an estimated 3 months with a possibility of permanency.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining patient data; training and workflow recommendations may be involved. Minimum qualifications require a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and handling decontamination.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients clearly and courteously.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
