Job summary

United Future in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking a contract Phlebotomist to support blood collection and specimen processing. The role runs 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Ensure proper labeling, decontamination, and transport of specimens.
