Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Colonial Heights, VA. Schedule is 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an estimated duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, data documentation, and maintaining specimen integrity. Requires phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of fast-paced lab or hospital experience. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data records.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations.
