Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract in Charlotte, NC, with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The engagement lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent placement and benefits.

You will perform blood draws, label and centrifuge specimens, and maintain accurate maintenance data while updating patient information. Experience with venipuncture and OSHA/DEP compliance is required; Phlebotomy certification and a high school diploma or GED are

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED (stated as minimum education).

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures; updates patient information.
• Explain venipuncture steps clearly to patients and follow OSHA/DEP regulations.
