ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential to become permanent. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, location on-site.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, maintaining accurate records, and complying with OSHA regulations. Requires state phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, HS diploma or GED, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualificações

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Properly explains the venipuncture process to patients in a clear but courteous manner.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store samples according to required temperatures.
