Job Juncture is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Charlotte, NC, with an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday schedule. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging, and ensuring proper transport and documentation.

Candidates must hold a valid phlebotomy certification for the state, have at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection with proper labeling.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain accurate maintenance data.
• Record patient information and ensure proper test requisitions.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and comply with regulations.
