Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role with a potential to convert to permanent. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday. This 3-month assignment offers benefits and opportunities to gain hospital lab experience.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifugation, data entry, and strict adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations. Phlebotomy certification and 6+ months venipuncture experience required; MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend trainings; assist with inquiries.
