Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist in Charlotte, NC, for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and handling specimens, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The role requires a valid phlebotomy certification and hands-on venipuncture experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and label centrifuged samples.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage to maintain integrity.
