Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The role involves blood collection, specimen labeling, and adherence to lab procedures.

A minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience and a phlebotomy certification are required. Benefits are available. The candidate will perform venipuncture, document maintenance data, and ensure specimen integrity, while following OSHA/DEP

Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification (state-specific) required.
Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously.
Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure accuracy.
Package specimens for transport and store appropriately to maintain specimen integrity.
Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
