Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3‑month contract in Anchorage, AK. The role includes performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation and specimen integrity.

Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for permanent hire. Responsibilities include performing venipunctures, preparing specimens, and following OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with accuracy.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Package and store specimens as per protocol and transport requirements.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
