Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled venipuncture and blood draws.
• Label specimens, centrifuge and maintain records.
• Collect, store and transport specimens according to procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulations compliance.
• Attend annual department trainings.
• Answer inquiries and review lab results.
