Actalent seeks a Phlebotomist to provide high-quality specimen collection and processing in a fast-paced patient service center and laboratory setting in Vienna, VA. You will perform venipuncture, label and store specimens, and ensure accuracy and patient comfort while maintaining compliance with safety and test protocols.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, state certification where required, and strong customer service skills for diverse age groups; role is onsite with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification required where state regulation applies.
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong customer service skills with pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and safely.
• Label, store, and process specimens per test requirements.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Match requisitions to tubes and verify patient data.
• Assist with workflow improvements and training of staff.
