Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience.
• Proficient venipuncture using straight and butterfly needles.
• Pediatric blood draws across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws via venipuncture per procedures.
• Collect and store blood and specimens per protocols.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort.
• Verify orders and match requisitions to tubes.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and store specimens per test orders.
• Ensure specimen integrity during transport and storage.
• Update patient information in the system.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs.
