Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in Newberg, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract assignment. The role includes performing venipunctures, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with rotating Saturdays every 4–5 weeks.

Candidates must have a valid state phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws/venipunctures and collecting specimens.
• Label specimens and record maintenance data.
• Centrifuge specimens and package per test order.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients in a clear, courteous manner.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
