Top Echelon Software LLC in Washington DC seeks a contract Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label specimens, and manage specimen handling. Schedule is 7am-4pm (Mon-Fri) plus Saturday mornings; duration approximately 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

The role requires experience with venipuncture, proper specimen handling, and comfort with geriatric patients and challenging draws. Training and benefits are available; on-site work is expected at DC facilities.

Formación

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state
• Minimum 5 years venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital settings
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with accuracy
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens per procedures
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and document results
• Coordinate specimen packaging and transport while maintaining sample integrity
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings
