Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Alpharetta, GA team. The role involves blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and travel to client sites as needed. The candidate will provide excellent patient service and support various laboratory operations.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with Phlebotomy certification or training, and at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience. Strong venipuncture skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 Years or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven ability to perform venipuncture and collect specimens for various tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
