Job summary

Labcorp in Columbus, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, and ensure accurate data entry of patient information.

Responsibilities include processing specimens for testing, collecting payments as needed, and maintaining logs. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and may require travel to additional sites. Schedule is Monday–Friday with potential Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
