Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Albany, GA team, performing venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups with accurate data entry and compassionate care at client sites.

You will support high-quality patient services in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow, and eligibility for the PST Incentive Plan. Travel to additional sites is expected, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or training required.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
