Job summary

Labcorp in Albany, GA seeks a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections across age groups, process specimens, and enter data. Travel to additional sites as needed is required.

You will work a schedule Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1 hour lunch, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm, and occasional Saturdays. A phlebotomy certification and 3+ years of experience are required; Labcorp offers a PST Incentive Plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 5 years or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
