Job summary

Geisinger Medical Laboratories in Milton is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to collect blood and specimens in a patient-centered environment. You will perform venipunctures and skin punctures, label and process samples, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures following CLSI guidelines.
• Ensure patient identification, specimen labeling, accessioning, and processing.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support safe patient care.
• Mentor students and new employees.
• Respond to physician orders and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain inventory as directed by site leadership.
• Operate Geisinger systems and tools as end user.
• Work across inpatient, outpatient, and field locations as needed.
