Job summary

Geisinger Primary Care Milton seeks a skilled phlebotomist to support blood collection in inpatient and outpatient settings, performing venipunctures and skin punctures with precise labeling and processing.

You will join a collaborative team, ensuring safe, high-quality specimen handling while maintaining patient-focused care. Part-time shifts and day availability are included in compensation discussions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience (Required).
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain specimens.
• Label, accession, and process specimens according to standards.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe patient care and accurate results.
• Mentor students and new employees as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and competency testing.
