Job summary

ImpactLife in Illinois is seeking a Collection Specialist Driver to support our donor services team. The role includes donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy, as well as providing compassionate donor care during the donation process.

You will drive large vehicles to transport supplies and team members, set up and tear down collection sites, restock supplies, and work 30–39 hours per week with days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Enjoy working with the public.
• Stable work history preferred.
• Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends.
• Willing to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time.
• Comfort with driving larger vehicles (box trucks, tractor-trailers).
• Comfort with driving in varied weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license in your state and insurability by our carrier.
• Hold or obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card.
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required.

Responsibilities

• Drive large vehicles to transport blood drive supplies and team members.
• Set up and tear down collection operations at sites.
• Conduct donor registrations, screenings and phlebotomy as part of the donation process.
• Provide donor care during donation to ensure a positive experience.
• Restock of supplies and equipment as needed.
