Job summary

Labcorp in Clemson, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient data in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or practical training, with preference for 6+ months of phlebotomy experience. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:45am–4:45pm, with opportunities for growth and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
