Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at McLeod Cardiology Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, SC. You will perform skilled blood collections and be the face of Labcorp, delivering excellent service in a Patient Service Center.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification. A Phlebotomy incentive plan bonus may be available and some travel to other sites is required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited Phlebotomy course.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
