Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist for West Columbia, SC, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens for tests, and ensure accurate patient data entry while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers growth opportunities within Labcorp and requires a high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months of experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomist may be eligible for PST Incentive Plan, a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
