HCA Healthcare, Inc. in Utah seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. You will perform venipuncture and specimen collection, prepare samples, and enter orders in LIS while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

You will communicate results to staff and physicians, maintain aseptic technique, and support training and administrative duties as needed. A phlebotomy certification and CPR/BLS are required within 30 days of hire; a valid driver’s license is also preferred.

Formación

• Phlebotomy certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience or completion of a phlebotomy training program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and basic medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens.
• Enter orders and patient information into LIS; label and transport specimens.
• Communicate test requests and results to appropriate staff and physicians.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and OSHA standards; use PPE as required.
• Assist with in-services or training and handle administrative duties in the lab.
