Qualifications

• 2+ years experience performing registration, clerical duties, and sending out of specimen processing

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens by venipuncture or finger sticks per orders
• Process and prepare specimens for testing and courier pickup
• Enter and verify registrations and orders in the LIS
• Maintain documentation and ensure specimen labeling accuracy
• Educate patients/family on collection procedures
• Assist with clerical duties in the department
