Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Ashland, OR is seeking a contracted Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and support department workflows. The role includes troubleshooting and training aspects as part of daily duties.

Candidate should have a phlebotomy certification for the state, at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm, with every other Friday off. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed, as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens per procedures.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens as required by test order.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients in a courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate patient information and follow OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings.
