Job summary

Carter BloodCare is hiring Phlebotomists for Mobile Collections and Donor Centers in Texas. No experience is required; training is provided. You will travel to blood drives and work with donors to ensure safe, quality blood products.

Starting pay is $18.48 per hour with opportunities for overtime, weekend differentials, and bilingual pay. Training lasts up to nine weeks, with a variable schedule before stabilizing. Benefits include PTO and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of general work experience OR comparable education in the medical field.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Personally connect with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with your teammates to create a friendly environment so our volunteer donors feel comfortable returning and encouraging their friends/family to donate.
• Be detail-oriented all day, every day to ensure the blood you collect meets regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused.
• Work with your team to move, set up, and take down equipment at mobile blood drives.
